Balamb Garden is a loosely-knit mercenary group with a small number of members, offering various paramilitary services for a fee. PVE jobs are our focus, we’ll accept some PVP jobs, but its not our preference. If you’ve got jobs that involve combat-related activities look no further than Balamb!
History
An org designed based off of Balamb Garden from the game Final Fantasy VIII. If you liked the Balamb Garden of FFVIII, my goal is to make this org as close to it as possible! Members of B-Garden provide various paramilitary services for a fee, and the goal of the org is the advancement of its members (via coop, public facilities, and public ships). There will also be roles for those prefer non-combat related activities, but the average member of B-Garden is a lawful mercenary. Typical services provided are security-related (escort, patrol, medical-support, and bounty-hunting).
All are welcome to join, and so long as you are considerate of other members and lawful in your conduct B-Garden will support you.
Manifesto
Our goal is to provide security services and paramilitary freelance work while advancing our members. We mean to conduct ourselves altruistically, taking legitimate contracts and doing everything we can to see them through. We also intend to support our allies and patrons to the best of our abilities. We want to be able to provide our members with access to ships, facilities, and services so that they can become more effective pilots. Any money made by the org will be invested in resources for the use of its members.
Charter
1. Be courteous to other members.
2. Generally, commit no crimes while a member of Balamb (some crimes committed with a spirit of altruism may be justified).
3. While working under the Balamb Garden banner accept no shady contracts, all org-related work should contribute to the public good. Any shady contracts must be completed as an individual, without the use of org resources.
4. Have integrity, if you accept a contract as a SeeD, you are expected to do all you can to see it through.
5. If you accept and complete a contract either through B-Garden or using B-Garden resources, pay the org a small commission fee (something in the realm of 5-10%, specific amount to be decided later). This money will be used to provide better ships and facilities for all org members!
6. If a member chooses to make a ship available to the org, the ship will be returned to their sole possession upon request.
7. If a member donates UEC to the org, they can choose what it is spent on.
8. Maintain an attitude of self-advancement, as the organization’s primary goal is the advancement of its members!
