Time for something new…

In 2948, three Citizens tired and frustrated with the current organizations available, set out to create something new. They wanted an org that worked from the bottom up. Somewhere that everyone had a voice and leadership that was based on activity and proficiency. A place where members were compensated for their work and had the freedom to pursue whatever they want in the verse.

Early Steps

These three, later known as “The Founders”, began laying down the foundation for what would become Omni Astra Corporation™. They envisioned an org that would have room to grow but still maintain the structure and organization required for to it be successful.
In January 2949, Omni Astra Corporation™ was formed. Three days later, the org had 12 dedicated partners.

Milestones

Through the beginning of 2949, Omni Astra had grown to over 30 members and Divisions of the org were established allowing members to specialize in various fields.
In Mid-April of that same year, Omni Astra ran its first paid mission, giving each participating member a portion of the proceeds.
June 1st of 2949, saw the first elected board giving members a chance to participate in the further development and direction of the Org.

Looking Ahead

1/15/2951 – OAC Celebrates it’s 2nd anniversary!

7/10/2950 – After numerous failed talks, Omni Astra Corporation declares war on Shadow Moses and any of its affiliates.

6/28/2950 – With help from Blood Moon Bandits, OAC establishes the Interstellar Advancement Coalition to help facilitate inter-org training operations. IAC provided the ground work for an alliance between many like minded orgs.

1/15/2950 – OAC Celebrates it’s 1 year anniversary!

11/25/2949 – With membership at a record high, the Founders promote WanderingRonin as Logistics Vice-President.

10/10/2949 – Omni Astra Corporation reaches 100 partners!

9/01/2949 – The 2nd OAC Board of Directors election concludes, with the new members being BKFighter, AK47MZ, RushTheBus, The_Sampurrai, and Taozin. Congrats!

8/15/2949 – The Security Division is dissolved, allowing everyone to participate in combat regardless of your desired in-game occupation.

6/01/2949 – The 1st OAC Board of Directors results are in with Arcc, Kaboyce, Captain_Neckmeat, Angry_Weezel, and C.Atrox taking seats at the table. See the official press release here.

5/22/2949 – 60 partner milestone has been reached; the first Board Member election opens for voting

4/18/2949 – Omni Astra conducts it’s first partner paid mission, and establishes weekly events on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s

3/05/2949 – As membership nears 40 partners, the founders promote Captain_Neckmeat to the first Manager, responsible for Logistics

1/18/2949 – In just 3 days, OAC grows to 12 partners

1/15/2949 – Omni Astra Corporation™ is founded by autocon, bard_o, and Nate880
