The 24th Chairborne “Honey Badgers” was setup by a group of naval pilots and operators who wanted to belong to a group. We have all served our time in the UEE Navy as Pilots or Infantry.
Formed as a method for lone wolves to join up into a unit with competency as one of the main core values, a unit in which they could be sure their backs would be covered at all time with no doubt by like-minded people.
The name “Chairborne” comes from our mixed group of pilots and infantry, the infantry having experience as orbital-drop infantry (known as Airborne units). Our unit colours are yellow and black.
Our mascot is the Mellivora Capensis, commonly known as the “Honey Badger”. It is a small and incredibly aggressive creature, capable of attacking creatures multiple times it’s size and much stronger than it. They are now extinct but were once populous on the original planet of which human life originated – Earth.
The 24th Chairborne unit is a para-militarised group of naval vessel owners and operators. We offer a wide range of services with our varied fleet of air and space capable vessels as well as protection personnel.
Our services range from long haul sector security to salvage missions, conversely to military logistics. We aim to deliver a dynamic service where our members ensure appropriate and professional delivery of said service is given. Our services include:If the money is right then we will accept any or most jobs that do not go against our military doctrine.
Whether you are here to find services or to join our ranks, you will be met by a friendly and to-the-point response in any correspondence or conversations.
Members are paid in accordance to the risk to life, vessel or goods. More factors are drafted in when payment is decided. It is down to your commander’s discretion.
The following is the military doctrine of the 24th Chariborne unit. It is to be followed when appropriate. Discretion is advised.
As a para-military, non aligned unit our guidelines on risk to life are based on monetary return as opposed to duty. The core of our beliefs is competency, situational awareness and observational skill. We do not act without thinking, we do not provide unless it is of our own benefit.
Moral standards will be maintained when providing services except in the following situations:Any laws in sovereign owned space will be followed.
Rules of engagement in lawless and hostile sectors are as such:
