LOC Freelance was founded by long time comrades Jorsten “Scrim Reaper” Scrimsby and Kayle “Xerxies” Vishari.

Scrimsby and Vishari served together in the UEE Navy 444th Fighter Squadron. Scrimsby gained command after avenging the death of the former squad leader Sedge “Paddy” O’Keef by leading the remaining squadron to eliminate all enemy fighter groups. Though out numbered 3 to 1 and suffering numerous losses, they accomplished the mission objective securing an orbital defense platform so that the UEE Navy could then take back a rebellious planetary system. The friends served in the newly named Reaper Squadron for 2 more active tours before “retiring”.

Jorsten Scrimsby spent much of his retirement on the move mapping new, or remapping old jump routes while also exploring systems and planets he hadn’t been to. From time to time, while relaxing with drink in hand at the local watering hole, Scrimsby would pick up the odd job running packages or escorting freighters, he even took on a couple bounties. It wasn’t the job that really mattered or the money, though the money was sometimes very good. It was about the flying. Sitting in his tiny island bubble in the vacuumous black sea was where Jorsten was at home.

Vishari not satisfied with civilian life became a test pilot at UEEs Thorsen Proving Grounds. Vishari almost met his end during a test flight of an experimental atmospheric stealth fighter, CODENAME:Xerxies. Activating the cloak field generator caused a power system feedback loop that destroyed the entire craft and what was thought to be it’s pilot. To the shock off all on site staff and ground personel, Kayle Vishari was seen moments later walking towards command building without a scratch. The UEE has no official records of the Xerxies tests and aside from his new callsign and whispered words amongst Thorsen employees, no trace of the Xerxies project exists and to this day not one piece of wreckage from the craft has been found.

Kayle Vishari, wanting more control over his fate decided to contact his old friend Scrimsby and the rest, as they say, is history. Vishari and Scrimsby decided to put their years of military experience to good use and started LOC Freelance. The company started as a couple of grizzled ex fighter pilots for hire as escorts for unarmed traders and has grown into a modest security firm with a growing number of employees.

Our clientele has included large organizations such as The Iviss Trade Group, Nallex/Windstrom Consulting and Three Moons Breweries. as well as serving individuals in need of some extra security. LOC worked along side the entourage of Ambassador Raivec Moore on her many diplomatic visits to Xian space
