Former FPS competition team. The Battlefield and Call of Duty series suck now so we have turned to other genres.

History

N3M, created 2003, originally called “Existence”, was made up of players from 3 of the best Novalogic BHD squads at the time.

The Killing Alliance (TKA) specialized in CTF and TKOTH. Co-led by Heineken, TKA was known for their quick, accurate shots and unique tactics that won them 120-plus matches and 6 tournament championships. With their late night Teamspeak hijinks and all around good attitude, TKA was well liked in the community. Players that made up N3M were Heineken(founder) and Deez.

Genome Soldiers (GNS) specialized in TDM and TKOTH. Led by Sixth and Ruthless, they were known for their M203’s and on-the-fly tactics, which won them over 150 matches and 10 tournament championships. With their bad attitudes and knack for causing drama , GNS was well hated in the community. Players that made up N3M were Sixth, Ruthless, and J-man.

Belligerent Truculent Soldiers (BTS) specialized in TKOTH. They were led, unofficially, by PhillyKid, and were known for their swarming offense. Number of matches won is unknown, however, they were winners of 3 championships. BTS was a more casual squad that was well respected in the community and had a number of talented players. Players that made up N3M were PhillyKid, Ducked , Sixxdog, Sponge, Overload, and Drainman.

2004
With a couple additions to the roster (Ranger, Mymic, Scoop, and Rift), newly formed team “Existence” entered Novalogic’s Joint Operations, an MMOFPS with 12 vs.12 and 8 vs. 8 matches. The highly popular public game had a small competitive community that died out after 6 months or so, due to lack of support. During the height of the game, Existence was one of the best, if not the best, to play. Existence left the community with 20 match wins, 2 losses, the number 1 spot on both TWL ladders, two championships (including the gaming freaks tournament sponsored by Nvidia and Novalogic). MVP of the tournament was our very own Ducked.

As the Novalogic community died, Existence decided to move in to more competitive main stream games. With the move, the team decided to change their name to Team .N3M. The reason for this was to drop any ties with the Nova community and start fresh, building a new image and reputation.
Our first goal was to be a multiple gaming team; we didn’t have to look long for the fix. A few Nova friends who had made the move to CS:Source under the name Beanie Babys decided to join under the N3M name. Consequently, they had a successful run, in both CAL and CEVO for multiple years. The CS:Source roster was Piles, Myth, Demon, and Whoyadaddy.

Overall Record: 76-12

CS:S CAL-M+I Seasons 3-7: Records Lost
CS:S CEVO: Records Lost

2005
N3M competes in EA, latest title, Battlefield 2. Team Nemesis took on the challenge and moved into a vastly larger and talented community. They tried to duplicate the same success that they had achieved in the Nova community. With a few roster pickups, Arc, Redeye, Raabe, Ryan, Scoop, and Icarus, N3M entered the Cyberathlete League for the first time, competing in the 8vs.8 and 12vs.12 open. It was a learning process, but when all was said and done, they finished season 1 with a positive record. n3m. merged with tEAm cAkE (tc.) prior to the start of CAL season 2. At the time both .n3m. and tc. were looking for recruits to solidify their rosters. .n3m. was preparing for CAL/TWL and .tc was 9-0 on TWL 8v8 and looking take top rung. HK and Scoop contacted tc. and set in motion a merger. tEAm cAkE’s Arc, RedEye, and DeadEye were pivotal pickups from the merger.

N3M went on to compete in 4 more seasons of BF2 and won a Point of Existence // A Battlefield 2 Modification Championship. Cal-M seasons 3-6 info is unknown.
