History
Creation
Variance (also known as Variance Corp.) which was founded in 2495 to serve the needs of the great citizens who are in need of work with no direction. A few Founders from various backgrounds joined together and use their vast network of resources in order to expand into all platforms of work. Variance is accepting of the talented and hard-working people from all fields whether it be trading, security, bounty hunting, or even…more skeptical forms of labor.

Charter
Disclosure
This is meant to be a semi – serious roleplay organization dedicated to all forms of positions within the Star Citizen universe. During the pre-release content there will not be any strict rules placed on each individual and there will be no amount of login time required to stay within the organization itself. There WILL be roleplay done in these pre-release stages but they will not be required until the final release of the game.
General Rules
- Roleplay must be used at all times in the presence of other members of the organization and its affiliates.
- Roleplay is not required upon taking normal jobs within the Persistent Universe (PU) but is recommended.
- Griefing players both inside our organization AND outside will result in you being removed from the organization.
- All citizens must meet with a Career Manager before becoming a fully recognized member of VARIANCE. This is meant to be an RP event that is taken seriously.
- Each member must login at least once every 2 weeks in order to be considered active.
- If the player is inactive for over a month, they are subject to being deranked to allow other players to fill in their roles.
